WHO ARE THE
CHARLOTTE MONARCHS?

About The Charlotte Monarchs!!!
We would like to take this time and say thank you for reading this page and having an interest in the Charlotte Monarchs. The Charlotte Monarchs AAU Basketball Club is affiliated with DYSES Inc. Desire Youth Sports and Educational Services, Inc. is non-profit organization strongly committed to providing educational and athletic programs to the youth of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Community. Educational programs focus on individual tutoring, development of study skills, social skills, and community involvement. The teams will travel to tournaments and the players will get to see new things and places, which gives them a new perspective on life. Some players will get to travel, that have never been outside of the charlotte area until they join. There will also be educational services and tutoring that will be offered to all players in the organization. The Charlotte Monarchs will have a total of 12 teams within the organization this year (2003-04). There will be five girls teams ranging in ages from 11 to 15, and seven boys teams ranging in ages from 10to 17. This year, there is also a new General Board and President of Charlotte Monarchs Organization, striving to make even more positive changes within our basketball lives. This is going to be an exciting season with a lot of thrills and fun! Again, thanks for your interest in the CHARLOTTE MONARCHS BASKETBALL ORGANIZATION and LETS PLAY BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
